Hamburg, October 1st: SupplyX, specialist in digital supply chain management and international logistics solutions, is continuing its internationalization strategy and has appointed Robert Klukowski as Managing Director of its new branch in Poland. The experienced logistics expert will drive forward the development of a strategic hub for Central and Northern Europe from Gdynia – thus making optimal use of the multimodal connections offered by this important Baltic Sea port in the north of Poland.
To make the most of these growth opportunities, SupplyX is relying on local expertise with Robert Klukowski. Born in Poland, Klukowski has more than two decades of extensive expertise in the logistics industry, which is closely linked to the Tri-City region. His career has taken him to positions of responsibility at Schenker. As part of the management team, Klukowski gained in-depth knowledge of Ocean Freight Poland. Later, at GEODIS, Robert Klukowski was responsible for sea and air freight, human resources management, and ferry services. Most recently, he successfully established Greencarrier on the Polish market, setting up structures, processes, and teams from scratch. As Managing Director Poland with the objective of driving growth, Robert Klukowski now brings this experience in establishing new market presences to SupplyX.
“The people and the way they work together at SupplyX immediately won me over,” says Robert Klukowski, explaining his motivation to take on the new position. The clear vision and long-term strategy, combined with the use of state-of-the-art digital technologies and a serious commitment to sustainability, make SupplyX a progressive logistics company that achieves ambitious targets. We are talking about logistics with passion – logistics with the clear objective of offering customers the best possible added value.”

Building a resilient European network
With its own locations in Germany, Vietnam, and now Poland, SupplyX achieves broad geographical coverage, thus enabling optimal integration into international supply chains. This decentralization significantly strengthens resilience to disruptions as well as geopolitical and customs risks. Gdynia will also serve as a European hub for Asian traffic. In particular, synergies from key sourcing countries – India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, and Vietnam – will be integrated into Polish activities. The Silk Road connection shortens transport times and reduces costs between Asia and Europe, while established trade routes ensure reliable service for the European market.
“With SupplyX, we are now seizing the right moment to tap into the Polish market and introduce our services,” says Klukowski. “For the near future, we are focusing on process optimization, building a strong operational base, and attracting local talent. In the long term, we are positioning Poland as a key location for Central and Northern Europe in order to grow internationally. I look forward to working with a strong team to establish the SupplyX brand in Poland and offer customers first-class logistics solutions.”
