CO2- reduction and offsetting – sustainable solutions for your logistics
A detailed assessment of your supply chain processes
Today, acting in an ecologically responsible manner is a strategic corporate goal. Driven by climate change, growing consumer awareness and stricter legal regulations, companies are increasingly working to improve their carbon footprint and minimize pollutant emissions along the supply chain. At SupplyX, sustainability has a long tradition. We have been working systematically on climate protection for many years. Hence it's our approach to create the smallest possible CO2 footprint and combine the latter with sensible offsetting.
Three steps to greater sustainability
Reducing CO2 emissions is our first priority – we only compensate where technological solutions are not yet available or economically feasible and regard offsetting as a useful addition to climate protection. To support you on the way to more sustainability, we have developed our own 3-phase model for greener transports:
Transparency – Phase 1:
In which section of the supply chain do the emissions occur, and where is the best starting point for a sustainability strategy? We determine the influence of individual components of your supply chain on the CO2 score using a PWC-certified calculation logic. We provide you with the analysis and reports in a clearly visualized form.
Reduction of CO2 – Phase 2:
Exploit optimization potentials with us. By creating a catalog of measures and intelligent, active control via our SCM platform, we successfully reduce the CO2 level of your supply chain.
Offsetting – Phase 3:
If all reasonable control measures have been exhausted, you can support carefully selected projects with Gold Standard offsets and thus offset emissions. You will receive a certificate with the results of your offsetting for unrestricted further use.
Support meaningful sustainability projects with offsetting
While the focus is clearly on reducing the carbon footprint, certified offsetting projects can also have a positive and instant impact on the climate. SupplyX cooperates with providers who pursue various climate protection projects worldwide and are guided by the Sustainable Development Goals.

FAQ on CO2 reduction and compensation
What measures are in place to reduce CO2?
Companies can reduce their CO2 emissions by promoting the use of environmentally friendly means of transport and taking care to fully utilize vehicles and containers in order to avoid empty runs. Optimizing transport routes and introducing efficient logistics systems and intelligent warehouse management also help to reduce pollutant emissions.
Which technologies support CO2 reduction in transportation?
Technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics and SCM systems play a crucial role in reducing CO2 in logistics. With their help, companies can better plan and control transports, optimize routes and monitor energy consumption. Through real-time tracking and monitoring of all relevant data, delays, detours or other risks can be identified at an early stage and countermeasures can be taken.
What benefits does CO2 reduction offer companies?
When they reduce their CO2 emissions, companies benefit from both ecological and economic advantages. The measures not only make a valuable contribution to climate protection and support compliance with environmental regulations, but also improve a company’s reputation and image and can thus lead to competitive advantages. In addition, modified and optimized processes along the supply chain ensure greater efficiency and enable cost savings.
