CPFR

In CPFR – Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (in English: Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment), it is about a joint consolidation and use of information between manufacturers and retailers. The core is the willingness of the involved business partners to jointly manage the planning, forecasting, and inventory processes as well as the sales strategies. The subprocesses are aligned towards a common goal and linked accordingly. The cooperation is conducted on a specially established platform. The goal of CPFR is that there is no difference between the planned sales quantity of the retailer and the planned production quantity of the manufacturer.
