Just-in-Time (JiT)

Just-in-Time or JIT refers to a production method where only the amount of a product that the recipient needs at a specific time is produced and delivered. Throughout the entire supply chain, the production and material flow must be coordinated accordingly. The goal is to optimize processes and thus achieve cost savings.
