Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) generally means programming a computer or robot to independently and autonomously find solutions and support human behavior. In logistics, robotic process automation (RPA) is particularly frequently used. With this technology, for example, data entry into an ERP system can be performed autonomously by a software robot or AI. Intelligent automation technologies and intelligent sensors, for instance for real-time measurement of data in the supply chain, are also increasingly being applied.
