Lean Logistics

As with Lean Management, Lean Logistics focuses on the efficient design of all (logistical) processes. The primary goal is to conserve resources and avoid waste. In addition, the focus is on flexibility while simultaneously optimizing the entire logistical system.

The Lean Logistics approach involves reviewing and optimizing logistics from two perspectives: on one hand, it is about taking the position of the customer and meeting their desire for efficiency, punctuality, and transparency. On the other hand, there is the company itself and the necessity to operate profitably and competitively. Ideally, Lean Logistics combines both positions in a streamlined process.
