Payment Service Provider – PSP (in English Payment Service Provider) are companies that handle the integration of online payment methods in online shops. Examples of such payment methods include PayPal, instant transfer, or payment through credit card providers like Mastercard and Visa card.

PSP providers typically offer their solution as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). This means there is no direct relationship between the merchant on one side and the payment solution on the other side.
