Predictive Analytics is a field of statistics that deals with predicting the future or trends. The goal of Predictive Analytics is to forecast likely scenarios using existing data and fixed parameters. In Supply Chain Management, Predictive Analytics is used for sales forecasts, risk management, and other SCM tasks.
